How we became Uniquely You.

We are proudly based in beautiful Edmonton, Alberta. As risk taking Entrepreneurs, Uniquely You Aesthetics and Wellness was founded in an effort to help our clients enhance natural beauty. Our fundamental belief is that everyone deserves to look and feel their best no matter their age, gender or background.

We started our Edmonton clinic in downtown because we believe in using a holistic approach to our treatments by aligning the mind, body and soul for the best results for our patients. At Uniquely You, we create a personalized skin treatment plan customized for each client to help you achieve long-lasting results you’ll be proud of! Sharmin Syed, RN

Sharmin is a Registered Nurse with over 9 years of experience in Mental Health & Addictions, ER, and Medical Aesthetics. She was trained at Frida Academy in Calgary, Alberta where she began her aesthetics journey. Upon completion of her injectable training, Sharmin dove right into the world of medical aesthetics, working full time at a medical spa in downtown Edmonton, where she furthered her knowledge and skills. She then opened her own skin care treatment centre - Uniquely You, a medical spa focused on using a holistic approach.

In March 2022, Sharmin finally opened her own clinic, which had been a long time dream of hers. Having her own Edmonton practice gives the independence to work with her patients closely, collaboratively building skin treatment plans that help patients achieve their skin goals.

Sharmin is a faculty instructor with the Canadian Association of Medical Aesthetics (CAMA), where she proudly educates her fellow healthcare practitioners on the art of injecting!

When she’s not injecting, you can find Sharmin spending quality time with her husband and their two adorable young children. Sharmin loves traveling and is also a big foodie, so she’s always keeping her eyes open for local hidden gems. Sharmin loves nerding out on facial anatomy, and all things mental health and personal development!
