Platelet-Rich Plasma is a facial rejuvenation treatment for those who are looking to renew their skin in a more natural way. This treatment allows your body’s natural abilities to regenerate tissue, which improves the overall look and feel of your skin. Plasma is a blood product which is full of growth factors. The growth factors stimulate collagen (producing cells and new blood vessel formation) resulting in skin that looks more rejuvenated and refreshed.

How does it work?

Frequently Asked Questions

1

How does PRP for Facial Rejuvenation work?

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) or “liquid gold” is the perfect treatment to rejuvenate the skin and stimulate cell growth within the body. PRP treatments encourage the body’s production of collagen, resulting in a more youthful, radiant complexion.

Plasma is a blood component which has proteins that are responsible to help the blood to clot and support cell growth. Platelets are found within the blood and are responsible for repairing damaged cells by forming a clot. PRP treatments use the body’s own healing abilities to rejuvenate the skin and promote new cell growth.

2

How is PRP for Facial Rejuvenation treatment performed?

PRP for Facial Rejuvenation is performed in the following three steps:

Step 1 –Your blood is drawn by our experienced and trained Nurse Injector, using a special collection tube, which is then placed in a centrifuge to spin.

Step 2 - The centrifuge will then separate the red blood cells from the plasma. This process concentrates the platelet counts.

Step 3 - The Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is then applied topically or injected into the skin for treatment, stimulating collagen production and cell growth.
